East Real took part in the Investment Real Estate Forum - PROEstate 2012 held on 12-14 September 2012 in St. Petersburg on the territory of Lenexpo Exhibition Complex. This is one of the major events in the real estate sector in the Central and the Eastern Europe. More than 300 companies from 20 countries all over the world participated in this event in 2012. The forum was organized by Saint Petersburg Government, RF Ministry of Regional development and the Guild of Property Managers and Developers.
At the opening ceremony Igor Metelsky, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, Vyacheslav Semenenko, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Construction Committee and Alexander Olhovsky, Vice-President of Bank VTB, JSC, have stressed the importance of the PROEstate Investment Forum. More than 150 attractive investment projects were presented during the 3 forum days, the PROEstate programme included more than 30 events (conferences, round tables, seminars and master-classes) attended by the most high-qualified specialists in the real estate sector. Besides, the forum participants took part in different contests and casual meetings in the evenings.
Main topics of discussions between the biggest representatives in the real estate market were investment and financial questions, urban planning, commercial and residential real estate development, architecture and design. Special attention was paid to environmental issues.
During PROEstate 2012 East Real was presented at VTB-Development exhibition stand as its strategic partner in renting out the areas of Nevskaya Ratusha Business Complex. This is a unique administrative and business zone in the historic centre of St. Petersburg which total area of the buildings equals 370,000 sq.m. The complex includes a building of the St. Petersburg Administration for the housing of the committees of the city government, 7 A-Class business centres, a congress-hotel managed by an international operator, a fitness centre with a swimming pool, boutiques, cafes and restaurants with diversified menus.
